Registration is now open for both our 2022 Summer Platform Tennis League and the 2022 Summer Pickleball League. Platform tennis plays Thursday nights and starts June 2. Pickleball plays Monday Nights and starts June 13.

Stratos Kranias won all six of his sets on two courts. He gained 32 standings points for the two court victories and now has a 10.0 average for the Spring/Summer season. Platform TennisScott Degerberg went 3-0 on a court with Chris Underwood, Stratos Kranias and Bob Kooris. Degerberg scored 16 points for the court victory and has a 14.67 average, good for 9th place in the Spring League standings. PickleballBrian Close won all ten of his games on two courts this week. Close is 10-0 for the season with 1,833 points in the standings. Dara Abel went 6-0 on a court with Angie Edmonds, Kelley Klebenow and Lindsay Klebenow. Abel improved to 12-2 and is first among female participants with 1,929 standings points.
27 courts played 302 games in week #4. Players going undefeated on courts this week were: Close (2), Abel, Greg Carr, Mike Gramaglia and Katie Ryan. Platform TennisEric West moved into first place in the overall standings by winning his court with Doug Jones, Jill Jackson and Mark Williams. Week #3 court winners were West, Cory Ingle, Dave Hensley, Nate Peterson, Katie Estep and Brian Methe. PickleballWeek #3 had 19 courts play 200 total games. George Peck took the lead in the standings, starting his season with a 4-0 result on a court with Bill Brunner, Dave Necessary, Pete Robinson and Zach Lutz. Players going undefeated on courts this week were: Peck, Rob Hinkle, Sally Schultz, Guy O'Gara, Steve Geary, Max Comerford and Tim Peters.

Mark Williams started his Spring/Summer season with a 4-0 performance on a court with Matt Stall, Cory Ingle, Jill Jackson and Rob Hinkle. Williams earned 20 points towards the standings and is currently in third place. Spring Platform Tennis League began with nine courts of play. Playing Platform Tennis League for the first time were: Jim Heisel, Ken Black, Chris Underwood, Katie Estep, Matt Stephens, Aaron Shepherd, Ginger Kuhn, Emily Witte and Amy Dutro. We have added some additional courts at Lunken Airport Playfield and can now reopen registration. The South venues will be Cincinnati Country Club & Lunken and the north will be Glendale Lyceum. We can now accommodate 172 players. The registration deadline is extended to Saturday, April 9.
42 of 55 spots are filled for our Spring Platform Tennis League. Players have until Tuesday, April 5 to register. All levels (match competent) invited.
