271 different players played 2,628 official games in Platform Tennis League's first Spring/Summer Pickleball league. The league ran 24 weeks and consisted of three 8-week sessions. 30 courts at Glendale Lyceum, LTC at Lunken and Cincinnati Country Club were used weekly. Final Standings

Our 11th Fall/Winter Platform Tennis League starts Thursday, October 6. The registration deadline is Friday, September 30. Indoor Pickleball starts November 6. There will be two sessions with the first at Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy and the second at Aces at Factory 52. Registration for Session #1 is now open. Session #2 registration will open in November and will start in January.
The 25-week 2022 Spring/Summer Platform Tennis League concluded Thursday. Eric West was the overall champion. Jill Jackson was the top female finisher. Jonathan Daugherty was the Ironman.
Chip Kupferberg and Molly Donath were 6-0 on courts this week. Kupferberg improved to 11-7 for the season with an 1,803 points average. Donath is now 15-1 with a 1,031 average. Results & Standings 276 games were played on 27 courts during Week #20 play of our Spring/Summer Pickleball league. Going undefeated on courts: Kupferberg, Donath, and Julie McLaughlin.
Our first Spring/Summer pickleball league is through week 18 of 24. There have been three rainouts and 15 completed weeks. 263 different players have participated with 1,885 official games completed. Players By Playing LevelOur league uses a proprietary algorithm that factors in results to create optimal "pairings" numbers based on a 4,000 point scale. Our more general "SOS" or Strength of Schedule number could be considered a playing level - that uses ratings 1 to 10. A loose conversion to the broadly used self-rating system would be 1 & 2 = below 3.0, 3 & 4 = 3.0, 5 & 6 = 3.5, 7 & 8 = 4.0, 9 = 4.5, 10 = 5.0. Here is a breakdown by playing level:
