![]() The Summer Platform Tennis League began with nine courts of play at Glendale Lyceum and Kenwood Country Club. The league welcomed eight newcomers: Jennifer Dickey, Ron Fraser, Sandy Kuznof, Lawre Bonekemper, Duy Vu, Andrew Jerrell, Lynn Larson and Sheri Frey. Tyler Fraser took the early lead in the standings by winning his upper level court outright. Others winning individual courts outright were: Scott McIntosh, Sandy Kuznof, Todd Minniear, Greg Carr, Bill Markovits and Ron Johnston. Click for complete week #1 results or for the updated standings. The 2015-16 Fall/Winter Platform Tennis League included 158 participants, 6 facilities and 26 weeks of play. The league experimented with virtual teams, a player draft and a team playoff. Clubs participating for the first time were Cincinnati Country Club and Maketewah Country Club. New to the league was the ability to specify geography. This limited travel and proved to be a popular addition. 1,483 official sets and about 2,000 total sets were played during the season.
