Session #3 of our Indoor Pickleball season concluded. This session was 8 Sundays at ACES Pickleball + Kitchen. Session #4 on Fridays has one week remaining (May 4 at Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy). That will end our first 23-week Indoor Pickleball league. Heading into the final week, 227 players have played 2,663 official games.

The platform tennis resurfacing project at Glendale Lyceum is complete. Courts 1 & 2 passed the first serious test, functioning perfectly during a rainy week #3.
Friday is the deadline to register for Spring/Summer Pickleball & Platform Tennis Leagues.
ACES Pickleball + Kitchen and Losantiville Country Club have been added as sites for our Spring/Summer South Pickleball league. The addition of 16 time slots increases capacity to 202 players for this session. Players have until Friday, April 7 to register.
Halbauer Top FemaleEllie Halbauer was the 2022-23 Fall/Winter League's top female performer. She finished with a 19-15 record and a 1,654 points average. This is her first Platform Tennis League title. Halbauer finished the year ranked 12th nationally with partner Jill Jackson. Fetwi Wins IronmanAJ Fetwi played 98 sets during the 2022-23 season to take the Ironman participation title. Zach Mueck was second with 86 sets. Jones Overall ChampionDoug Jones finished in first place among qualifiers - at least 24 sets played. Jones was 32-7 with 2,775 points. This is his 8th Platform Tennis League title. 40 teams competed for this year's Hertzel Cup City Open Platform Tennis Championship. #3 seeds Patrick Shiels and Luke White defeated top seeded Tyler Fraser and Tony Hobson in the final. This is the first city championship for Shiels and the third for White. White last won in 2017 with Fraser and also in 2015 with Rob Bakker. Fraser entered the finals 29-0 lifetime in the Hertzel Cup, having won all five times he entered. Hobson was one win shy of attaining his first open title in 32 years.
