The 2023 Hertzel Cup will be played this Saturday (March 4). The draw has been made and can be viewed by clicking Hertzel Cup 2023 Draw. Tyler Fraser and Tony Hobson are this year's top seeds. Below are tournament odds and round by round "over/unders". Matches starting with the round of 32 include predicted winners from the round before. Odds to Win TournamentFraser/Hobson ... 2 to 1 Heller/Lofgren ... 6 to 1 Jones/Reed ... 6 to 1 McIntosh/West ... 6 to 1 Pierce/Webeler ... 6 to 1 Shiels/White ... 6 to 1 Matrka/Toth ... 12 to 1 Carollo/Rogers ... 50 to 1 Dimling/Schubert ... 50 to 1 Gerwin/Guttman ... 100 to 1 Gilligan/Greenwell ... 100 to 1 Hall/Cabrera ... 100 to 1 Necessary/Spencer ... 100 to 1 Field (all other teams) ... 100 to 1 Match PredictionsThe number represents how many games the underdog is expected to win. So, a "6" would anticipate a score like 6-3, 6-3 or 6-2, 6-4. The underdog needs to win at least that many games to cover, the favorite needs to keep their opponent below that number to cover. Note that matches through the round of 16 are all two sets with a tiebreaker played instead of a third set when needed. This tiebreaker counts as 1 game.
